I'm a full time realtor (licensed in Virginia and Maryland) and have been in the business long enough to have seen the different cycles of the real estate market in the Washington DC Metro area.
Having gone to college at George Mason University in Fairfax, Viginia, I settled down in the area about 15 years ago and have since been watching the area grow. Most of the times, I work By Referral Only and most of my clients are from referrals thru word of mouth.
